Reception Places -- Please help

My daughter and FSIL booked Woodbury CC for their May, 2004 wedding. I hear good things about it from different people, but I have never attended an affair there. So far the prices are good, the rooms looked nice - didn't get the old, dingy feel myself, and the grounds with the huge water fountains are beautiful. I am praying the food is as good as people say. The gentleman who booked our affair was really nice, very patient and not at all pushy. For now, we have nothing but the best feelings.

I'm crossing my fingers, and maybe some other girls can give us first hand information about it.

Chateau Briand: We booked and LOVE it!! Cindy so strange ALOT of people got sick from the food there. Yet there is not ONE complaint with BBB in the past 36 months!!

Leonards' of Great Neck: Beautiful place. Was our second choice but chose CB b/c my Dad's 50th b-day party was held at Leonards.

Crest Hollow Country Club: Very nice. My prom was there so didn't want to have my reception there.
Carltun: Beautiful!! Way out of our price range.
Westbury Manor: Very nice but not my style
Manor East: Never been
Woodbury Country Club: Never been

A few brides recently have used Chateau Briand and Lizlen2003 is getting married next week! Do a search you will hear nothing but good things about them. Overall the Scotto Brothers locations are very good.
