I don't think we should be calling out every new person.
well, if you click on the link i put, you'll see why i dont do that normally but to come on and ask where everyone is getting married and bash places on the other board is quite fishy to me
Your absolutely right, it is fishy. It is so wrong to bash especially when you know theres a highly possible chance that a bride from that VENUE will read your message. I thought the comments were harsh.

and i do not have a pic yet because i just signed up to the site....
im going to say hi and welcome ....though I have to admit that other post is just down right harsh and false ...a place with 3 rooms cant have 4 functions....its simple math........so welcome and enjoy the site !!!
I think just the 'no appt needed' on x days at y times. but no judgment from me - i have no clue!

i was just being honost i thought this was a helpful site sorry to offend anyone...didnt mean it like that it all comes down to what each couple falls in love with for their specific day... i really liked the north ritz club it is amazing inside i did not hear about it until i found it in wedding sites magazine i checked it out too it was my fav on long island
i understand that but to bash places and talk about how many parties are going on and cobwebs is a little over the top besides, fox hollow cannot possibly have 4 parties going on at once as u stated, they only have 3 rooms
actually... they could definitely have more than 3 parties, but not 4 LARGE parties. they just DON'T do that.

I agree the comments may be harsh and I actually love the Fox Hollow, that was one of fh's top choices, but just b/c she is harsh doesn't mean shes fake

Re: reception question
i have been to weddings at fox hollow the grounds are amazing exsp the cute swing...it was just my own bad experience there were two weddings going on and an outside ceremony plus a birthday party inside and something going on in the upstairs room...there were two other couples waiting prior to me and the place was not dusted and there was a cobweb i was nitpicking the place because i was looking at it in a brides eyes focusing on every minute detail envisioning MY day...the outside was beautiful and i wish it was less hectic outside because it was on my top list prior to seeing it....again i was giving MY own option not meaning to offend anyone

Re: reception question
i didnt think fake in terms of a vendor trying to get business i thought fishy as in coming on her to purposely pissss someone off
Only because new people to the board DONT just start bashing other people's RH, who does that ? Thats soo not nice, and then to start advertising how your venue only has one wedding at a time, and the Fox Hollow has 4 venues.. ? Come on, thats just a tad bit rude now, don't you think ??

Yes, I do think it is rude, but then again there are a lot of rude people on here and sometimes people don't think before they post. Again, I just wanted to give her an equal shot here.

Re: reception question
at fox hollow do you have to pay full price for the spiders plate?
my friend got married at the fox hollow a few years ago and it was a fantastic wedding, the food was amazing the service was top notch. every bride is going to say their RH is better than anyone elses. you pick your place b/c it's right for you, your needs, your budget, your dream. don't EVER let anyone make you doubt your choice. and if they do, wish them rain on their wedding day!
sorry had to get that out!
