Reception questions

We booked our hall 10 months ago, and I am not getting married untill May.
What are some things I need to ask my hall besides when to do the menu, bring picture of cake, etc. Don't I have to find out what time the florists can go there etc?
Any other things I should ask?

It is good to know that information because vendors usually ask when they are being booked. At CB they gave me a folder with all the information I needed the same day I booked.

I would ask if/when they require liability insurance paperwork from vendors (DJ/band, photographer, etc). I know my hall requires the paperwork at least a month in advance.

Most of the florists who have worked in your hall will know the rules. That goes for all the vendors.
BUT I am totally annal and like to have all the info myself as well.
I would do your cake earlier in case they tell you that their is an 'extra' charge for what you want. You don't want to have to pick something else on the spot or make a $$ decision on the spot.
