I will be going to visit mant venues in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering if you could give me some tips. What type of questions should I be asking? Should I give them my budget up front of hear what they have to offer? How would i bargain a price down? I feel like I have no idea what I am doing and it is really stressing me out!!

Re: Reception Questions
I have great list of questions for reception venues. I'll see if I can find it.
As far as your budget, you should probably let them give you their prices before you mention exactly what you were hoping to pay.
Good luck!

Re: Reception Questions
I advise looking up prices on here for the hall. Then make a list of different months and their prices if you find this out. Have them offer you the price first. ALWAYS negotiate. Say 'LI Weddings has the price listed as this.' If they don't budge, ask for a Vienese to be thrown in and an enhancement on the cocktail hour or something of that nature. It works- TRUST ME.

This is like a cocktail hour but after everyone eats and has cake with nothing but desserts. I think it's the best part of the wedding!
