Reception seating

My wedding is this Sunday and between last minute cancellations and additions- my seating chart is driving me crazy. It's kind of like taking a test and answering the questions the first time around- then reviewing it any making that change.

I'm just curious - how you did your seating arrangements. I am making sure we have NO social experimentations going on. Who do you have sitting at your parents table? I was going to have my brother and his girlfriend (both in the BP) but I am now unsure if they should be with the rest of the bridal party. What are you doing??

Re: Reception seating

We have 2 bridal party tables - one for the girls an done for the boys. One on each side of the table FI and I are sitting at. I am sitting both my brothers at the bridal party table (since both brothers and one brother's wife are all in the bridal party). They will be sitting with all the other girls in the bridal party. FI's sister and date will be at the bridal party table with all the boys in the bridal party.

My parents will be at a table right next to the girl's table. That table will have my mom, dad, grandma, uncle, ring-bearer, my aunt and uncle (ring-bearer parents) and a couple first cousins. FI's parents will be at a table right next to the boys bridal party table. It includes his mom and dad, grandma, grandpa, grandma's two sisters and grandpa brother and wife, and other grandma's sister and husband (FI's mother is the youngest by far at the table - hehe).

Re: Reception seating

My bridal party is all over, my brother (who is a GM) is sitting with family and FH's sister (also in BP) is sitting with their family and my BP is sort of sitting together with their dates. I have sat on a dais without my FH when I was in a BP and I didn't really care for it. Everyone said the seating was going to be difficult, but for us it wasn't, we don't really have feuding families though! THANK GOD!
