Reception Thank you

Reception Thank you

FH and I don't want to spend so much time going around to our 300+ guests thanking them because it will take forever and we want to enjoy our wedding. I don't want to be rude either and not thank ppl. who came to our wedding and gave us gifts.

We are thinking of saying something like, 'we want to thank everyone for celebrating our wedding w/us today and wanted to take a moment to thank everyone now just in case we don't make it to everyone's table tonight' - we are thinking of saying this right after the toasts. We're hoping we can thank a lot of ppl. on the dancefloor.....What do you think?

Re: Reception Thank you

Will you be able to go to your cocktail hour? If you do, you'd probably be able to say quick hellos to a lot of people there. If you can, I think you should go around to each table. JMO

something that someone else did which i thought was a cute idea was the polaroid picture book..

Guests know you have allot of people to meet and greet.. so you put someone in charge of the book... people take a polaroid of them and their guest and put it in the book with a little caption.. it's a really cute momento of the day also..

I think thats good and people would understand too...or how about a receiving line after ceremony...

A lot of people make thank you announcements usually at the end of the night. IMO going to each table is more personal and it gives your guests the photo opportunity.
