We are having it at Villa Lombard's on a sunday afternoon and we are only having 100 people. The guarantee is only 75 people and they can accomidate way over that.

Re: Reception trouble
The Riviera is great! I love everything about the place including the fact that they only do one wedding at a time. Their prices are VERY reasonable and it includes a lot. FM if you want more details!

Re: Reception trouble
I am having my engagement party at Verdi's of westbury and they accomodate parties of all sizes. My engagement party is 135 people but the room we are in you can have a min. of 80 people. They are renovating the room in February of this year so the room we will be in, in march will be brand new

Louis XVI in Patchogue
I hardly hear anyone speak about this place, but I was in LOVE with how it looked so I went there to see it myself..its breathtaking. As I did more research I had more than a handful of people tell me that they had a great experience there. I'm pretty sure I might book with them!
we went and thought it was real pretty, but i think the traffic would be horrible, plus when we went they were having a bost show, which forces them to close down the two way street!

Re: Reception trouble
I would have to say that the thatched cottage was very nice and that amount of people would be comfortable - not lost in that place. FM CuriousGeorge for a review and to see pics.
Another suggestion- all the vineyards out east. most of the ones out there specialize in under 150 guests weddings.

Re: Reception trouble
I booked my ceremony and reception at the Milleridge Inn Carriage House. My minimum is only 60 and it holds up to 110. There prices are extremely reasonable for what they are offering, and the room is quite lovely. So far my experience with them has been amazing. Leslie, the banquet manager is a dream. Good Luck.

Re: Reception trouble
I have never been but I hear the Three VIllage Inn in Stonybrook is really nice and has smaller parties. From the outside it is beautiful!
