Trying to plan the reception now..The MC is FHs Uncle and he wants to start planning it but wants to know what all we want!! What is everyone doing at there reception? Traditional? Having any games? We are having a slideshow and A special number by my FH! I cant think of anything else really!! Help!

You probably want to think about your first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, any other special dances, whether you want the bouquet and garter thrown, whether you want a came to give away your CPs, etc.

I've picked out most of the music, and the special dances. I just dont know what else to have? We are doing a chocolate fountain. FH said Name that tune..But i think thats a bit tacky for a wedding.. What is everyone doing for kissing games??

If you have a throw away bok you can either throw to the single girls or have all the married couples go out on the floor and then the band/dj will say anyone married less than 1 year pls sit down less than 5 yrs and so on and finally you give the throw away bok to a couple that has been married for 50 yrs.
I would think about if you are going table to table to talk to people or how you want to do that?

What about renting a photo booth those look great. The night will fly between the drinking and dancing.

we are going to our CH for that reason...so we dont have to waste the Reception time to say hi to people. and we dont have time between church and RH

we did first dance, best man speech, photo montage with our baby pics and our pics, our videographer did a quick edit of everything before the reception and played it during our reception it was a wedding movie trailer, father daughter/dance, mother/son dance, garter toss, bok toss and cake cutting.
Honestly, not sure about games at a wedding. You can do cp give away ive seen that done at weddings or instead of bok and garter toss you can do the anniversary dance.
Theres already alot of things during the wedding, such as all the things i mentioned plus not to mention sitting down for appetizer, 2nd course and then entree, so theres alot of pauses the rest of the time its good to just have all the guests dancing and having fun
