Recomend..

Hey ladies-
My brother is getting married in Oct and i wanted to buy a really nice dress but don't want to go broke doing it..

I was even thinking of getting a bridesmaid dress- some one them are so nice and don't look like one..
Any good dress shops i can go to?

I was gonna go back to RK but i am still pissed at how they handled my wedding dress situation and don't want to give them business again...

There's dress places near 6th avenue and like 38th street. Some of them allow you to try on the dress others don't so its tough but you can get a gorgeous dress for not alot of $$.

Lord and Taylor has really nice dresses...also Macy's (plus they always have sales!)

You can even check out David's Bridal.

honestly, DB has some nice dresses that are cute to wear to a wedding .... they are like ready to buy dresses, no need to alter. I bought one for a wedding last year there

I forgot about Lord & Taylor, DB & Estelles...

I found something on Nordstrom that i really liked but DH said purple is NOT my color..but its october and i thought purple would be a perfect color for then..

The other day I was on Davids Bridal website and they had a party dress section with some cute dresses.

I also love Nordstrom and Bloomingdales

There is a place in Sayville I love to go dress shopping at its called Debra Canavan. They are very pretty but expensive (well depends)

and of course I LOVE the BCBG outlet in Riverhead (they might also have one in deer park now)

Nordstroms and Lord and Taylor has nice dresses

And depending on what look you're going for you can check out BeBe or Arden B.

There's Cache in Roosevelt Field too
