I can't remember where but there was a part of the city (I wanna say in the 30's but I could be wrong) that has a gazillion little costume jewelry stores. But you have to purchase a minimum of let's say $25-$50 worth (sometimes more). Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Hmmm... there are a TON of costume jewelry stores in the fashion district (West 30's / 7th ave, BWY). There is another one on 5th Ave and 37(?) st. - I O U ... it's pretty huge. My favorite store for costume jewelry is on Broadway- all the way south (almost to Canal) on the east side of the street. Then, there is one- girlprops.com which is in the village... HTH

there are tons of costume jewelery on canal street
try the garment district. The whole thing about having to buy a certain amount sounds like the wholesale district though but theyre within blocks of eachother...if you stay on 7th avenue and go in the 30's you'll find alot
yes...its all from 30th street to 36th...between 6, 7, and 8th avenues...
