Help me out here, ladies. I've had my laptop for years without needing a printer (because, um...anything that needs printing just gets done at work!) However, since we're going to do our own invites, programs, menus, etc. - we want to buy a good printer. Probably going to hit up some Black Friday sales. I don't know much about what I should be looking for...maybe some of you other DIY/crafty ladies can steer FH and I in the right direction?

I have one of those HP all in one printers. I love that I can scan and fax from home and it prints well too.

I bought a new color inkjet for projects after speaking to T e s s a steered me away from lasers for projects such as these because they are limiting. But now I'm looking to get a good laser anyway because there are times that I don't love the quality of the inkjet so I'm going to buy a laser now. I just can't find one that I love yet. I'll let you know how I do with whatever I buy.

I also have an HP desktop inkjet printer. I think it's part of the 1300 series, but I don't know exactly which one. Works great though!
