Recommend The MakeUp You Use!

I'm not a makeup person at all. Hence hiring a pro for my wedding day!

However, I've recently found out they can't come on site the day of for touchups. :(

So I want to arm myself with some makeup to touch it up throughout the day.

What brand of makeup do you use for eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick on a hot summer day??

P.S. I don't want to spend too much on this and preferably something with a retail location or drugstore.

Talk to your MUA and see if you can purchase the exact product she will be using.

My MUA for my TTD shoot let me keep the lip gloss for touch ups! I love it!

I love MAC make-up but if you're looking for something less expensive, L'Oreal has great mascara and eyeliner. I dont think you will have to touch up your eyeshadow if you're getting your make-up professionally done. As for lipstick, i would ask your MUA so she can tell you what she's using on you day of.

i'm also a fan of mac and it's not that expensive, but i would talk to your make up artist and see what products she plans on using.

I could recommend a ton of stuff from Sephora (Make-up Forever is a favorite), but if you are strictly going with drugstore, I also would say L'Oreal. It's the same manufacturer as Lancome.

Thanks Ladies!

I'll def ask her but I noticed at both trials that she had one of those makeup palette thingies and for the most part mixed colors together.

So it's not like she used a specific brand and color.

But I guess I can ask her for something comparable?

Usually the palettes are made up of a specific brand, which you can purchase separately either at a department store or Sephora. Definitely ask her! She will at least be able to tell you something similar.

I really love Clinque! It is easy on my skin (breathable make up) and affordable for everyday use. If you go to Macys, most counters will give you free samples to try if you ask.
