I need to get a new Rx for contacts (and get my eyes checked out)...and quite frankly, I hate my eye Dr.
Where do you guys go? I could use recc's for opthamologists as well as optometrists...

I've been seeing Dr. Dondiego at Smithtown Optical for years for my contacts and glasses, and highly recommend him. He's an optometrist. I also saw Dr. Martin, Jr. at North Shore Eye Care, also in Smithtown, recently when I was having my eye problems. He's an ophthalmologist. Unless it's a medical emergency though, I will always choose Dr. Dondiego.

I don't go there any more because I'm so far but Family Eye Care in Medford (across from McDonalds on Route 112). The doctor there is really good!
