FH just called me and told me his computer home completely died. He's in the middle of really intense interviews and needs a computer ASAP (right before our wedding...awesome, right?). Any recommendations for a reasonably priced computer? I would love a Mac, but that's out of the question right now.
Funny thing about it: One of my B-Pics was the background wallpaper, and I'm sure that was fun for the computer techs to see when he took it in .

I love my HP. I agree about Macs, but I have an HP desktop and also bought an HP laptop last year and am very happy with them.

Gateway all the way! I've had gateways since 1995 and I swear by them! I find them to be very reliable and fast! They use great components and parts.

check out DealNews.com ... they have TONS of computers (and other stuff) for sale and only post the best deals around ... they don't sell directly but they'll link you to dell, hp, vaio, etc ...
