Recommendations from a 2011 bride

Hey 2012ers! So, I'm getting married on Saturday and wanted to share a couple things with you all.

1. Whether you're engaged for 6 months or 3 years, it will fly. Ask anyone who is married or about to be. With that said, enjoy it because it is such a short time in the grand scheme of things.

2. For those just starting the planning process, when picking your vendors, sign on the dotted line for the bare minimum. You will change your mind on things and you can always upgrade, but you surely can't downgrade.

3. Buy things on etsy! So many beautiful, inexpensive finds. I wish I would have gotten my invites on there. I love the ones I used, but then found my dream invites for a steal on etsy. In my next life, I guess.

I think that's all for now. Those are just some things I wish I had realized sooner in the process.

I feel like I just want my wedding to come already, but I know the year will fly by. I have to keep remembering that!

thanks for the tips!! in particular the invites on etsy, I'm still looking but one set i found were way too much! Maybe I'll keep looking to see if I can find a deal!
