Hi I got married a little over 7 years ago. so I have been out of the wedding loop for a while now.

however my BFF is now getting married and she is looking for highly - rated wedding shops. I cant even remember which dress shops I went too

any recommendations?

Wedding Dresser Couture by Vassa in Woodmere. AMAZING! I told her what style i liked and how i wanted to feel, i found my dress at my first appointment. Small cute shop, she locks the door so its only you and her for an hour, great experience.

I just bought my dress from RK bridal in Manhattan. Lisa the manager and Monica were a delight to deal with! They also have a massive selection of bridal a d bridesmaid dresses. I didnt want to go all the way into Manhattan for a dress but I am so glad I did!!!!!

Bridal World in Freeport, LI was very nice. You have the whole store to yourself for an hour. It feels like you are in your grandmother's living room. It's modern, clean and the people are very nice.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with my Azazie wedding dress. While the dress appeared acceptable at first, serious quality issues became evident during my wedding reception itself.

Most concerning, the white fabric began turning yellow during the reception. This was both noticeable and upsetting, especially for a wedding gown where fabric quality and color stability are critical. In addition, beads began falling off the dress while it was being worn, further highlighting poor craftsmanship.

A wedding dress is meant to be worn once for one of the most important days of a person’s life, and it should certainly be able to maintain its appearance for the duration of the event. Unfortunately, this dress did not meet that basic expectation.

Given the significance of the occasion and the price point, I expected far better quality control. I would strongly urge Azazie to review their materials and construction standards to prevent other brides from having a similar experience.
