red alert--dj wanted

I just posted a response, and though spinaround recieved a bit of a bashing from one person below, I would definately at least talk to them..checkout my response below and checkout their site www.spinaroundsound.com I have been married 2 weeks, so it is fresh in my mind.. I really wouldn't have changed a thing..

hi ladies. this is my first time posting and i am really in a bind. i need a dj. my wedding is in april and i don't want some part-time, on the side guy just playing songs at my wedding. does anyone know a really good, professional dj and mc that are worth their weight in gold, my music is really, really important.
I am Australian and back home we do things a little differently, Tom (spinaround) was only too happy to assist me in any way he could..

We chose to go with Parameters. The owner, Eddie Terryn, comes from a background of being a professional dj at popular night clubs on Long Island. He djs and mcs, and promises not to get in the faces of our guests. He has a great sense of what are good dance songs, and what songs might not work so well. He is very committed to making the party jump all night long. We found him at one of those bridal shows, loved the audio tape he put together and liked what he had to say when we met with him. We booked him for our Sept. 2001 wedding.

Parameters: 516-485-4100

Dana,
It is so weird that you should be asking for something different for your dj.Don't think I'm nuts but i can't help sharing this story with you. My FI and i looked at about 8-10 companies and they were all good, but they all did the same thing, and that left me like......hhhmmmm, now what, they are all the same to me. Then it was almost like a strange coincidence, when i went to my caterer to see the room all finished for another wedding (Chateau Briand, loved it)the dj was doing the first dance, so i could only peek in. The music was playing and the bride and groom were dancing, but the whole dance floor was covered with clouds. I knew they weren't real clouds but it looked so real. I asked the maitre'd to get me a card so i could find out more about it.

i used in the mix djs and they were great, the music, the montage, and the wedding on a cloud was the best. i couldn't have asked for a better dj.
