I dont want to do white, ivory, gray...I want something different. What color do you think goes with red couches and wood floors. And if anyone has pictures I would love to see them...Thanks

how about a tanish color...not beige/ivory and not brown...maybe taupe is the color i am thinking.

we are planning on doing a red cloth couch as well. i think that might be what we are going to do, but we don't have the house quite yet. good luck!

I don't have couches in red but my den is painted in beige & red. We used Greenbrier Beige from Benjamin Moore!

I have a red couch and pale yellow walls - my couch then has floral and plaid throw pillows with reds, yellows, and greens.

I second the tan or light beige color, like tea with milk in it.

We have deep red almost burgundy microfiber furniture with walnut legs. Our tables are deep walnut and our crown molding is deep walnut. Our walls are white, but we're planning an accent wall in sage, and then we're going to do sage silk drapes, and an geometric area rug that will pick up both colors.

i have seen red couches with yellow walls and it looks beautiful. especially with wrought iron accessories! it gives it a very spanish villa feel to the room.

Green is the complement of red, so they work well together. Of course you have to pick the right green.

Buy a pint of the color first and paint a small section near your sofa so you know it is the right one.

Good luck!

I agree with green - but a muted shade like a sage or a variant of that color.

Or a goldenrod or mustard color.
