What are your opinions on this? I've always loved red, and thought I'd have red BM dresses, red flowers, etc. I'm getting married in July outdoors on the water. The grounds have tons of flowers that are all different colors, but lots of purples/pinks. I wouldn't add any flowers outside except to the chuppah/gazebo. Inside is pretty nuetral. Do you think red is OK for summer at such a venue? I had people tell me red is too wintery for summer. HOnest opinions please. Thanks!

I know its not exactly red, but I'm having a July wedding and the girls are wearing Merlot.

I am getting married in July and I am doing some shade of red. I personally think it looks great in pictures too, it pops! I am doing a red/ivory theme. I am doing mostly ivory with accents of red. I thought the same thing though and was worried but everyone does everything now. It is your day!!

If you love the color, than definitely go with it! I got married in July and my BM dresses were a wine color, which I originally thought would be too dark for summer, but I loved the color.

Red is a color that can be used all year round if you think about it. I love it and Im also using it.
