anyone have an idea on how i can incorporate the red sox and yankees with the place card table?

well i dont know if you already thought of this, but what about if the tables are not numbered, but named by players?
like we're doing that with mets players...so for example one table might be

maybe put a hat from each team on the table...You can decorate it with other baseball stuff...Theres a groomscake that i saw that is both the yankees and redsox together, but dont know if putting the cake on the same table would be good.
maybe using the colors of each team for the placecards...or how about making the table look like a field, the diamond shape

i was thinking maybe doing each tier of the cake a yankee and then a red sox.
my cake is 4 layers so i would alternate.
Putting the placecards on a diamond shape is pretty cool too!

well that cake is a groomscake...if you want to do the redsox yankees thing for your wedding cake then yeah talk to whoever is making your cake and see what they think about the idea...How would you alternate, like what design would you do the tiers?
