Reem Acra Salon...

Has anyone gone there? How are the prices compared to other salons...ie Wedding Salon of Manhasset, Kleinfelds??

The reason why I am asking is because they are having a trunk show there in late April - around the time that I plan on buying my gown. Do they offer a discount then?

Trying to get the most for my money

Not sure about your question, but check out www.bridepower.com which is the website of VOWS in MA. They have a great selection including lots of Reems and the dresses are in great shape at very substantial discount.

Oooohhhhhh, the Reem Acra Salon was fabulous!!! I would definitely go there just for the experience of going there. They have alot of dresses (although not nearly as many as I imagined) and many of them were dresses I hadn't seen anywhere else (and I think I went to every salon in New York that carries Reem ). They have a lot of gowns on display, but they also alot out of view so they will just keep bringing out stuff if you don't see enough of what you want.

So, all that being said, the price tag on my dress was $300. more than it was priced at the Wedding Salon. I thought that was weird. I don't know how they are about giving discounts, I didn't try for one, I just ordered through the Wedding Salon.

Have fun! You might even get to meet Reem!!

thanks for the info - does anyone else know about trunk shows and any possible discounts that they offer?

My dress was the same price in Florida and New York.

From my experiences, either you get it at a trunk show and get 10% off the price of the dress, or youll get alterations waived. For me (or my mom rather ) the 10% was more money!

They usually give you a 10% off at trunk shows so, you're best bet to get a discount is there. Good luck.
