Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
My wedding is at 12:00, pictures are at 9:30 and I doubt that there is any place that is open at 6:00 on a Sunday morning. So, when I finally find someone they will be coming to the hotel next to my RH, where I will be staying the night before the wedding.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
i am getting ready in a hotel the morning of my wedding and i am having my stylists come to the hotel to do my hair and makeup. The reason i prefer it this way is because the last thing i want to worry about that day is driving to a salon, sitting in traffic, getting a flat tire, getting poured on my newly created hairstyle if it rains, getting into a fender bender...etc,etc. These scenarios are a bit extreme and not likely to happen but it just will keep me at ease knowing i dont have to rush anywhere and might avoid any potential obstacles in the day.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
Well, I WAS going to go to a salon, but they flaked on me--I should write my own topic on this--so now I guess I'm having someone come to the house.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
I am taking pics at 8:30AM So, the women will be there at 5AM to make me beautiful-there's no way i would travel to a salon at that time and I doubt any are even open.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
I am having the girls come to my house because my mom has MS and can't get to a salon comfortably. I didn't want her stressing out on my wedding day. I would actually prefer to go to a salon.

Salons will open early for a fee sometimes. Just to let you know.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
i am having my co-workers come to my house the day of my wedding. i think my boss is closing the salon for my wedding. i just don;t feel like going to the salon then coming home and all that. its easier for me to be home.

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
to save $$$, MOH and I are going to the salon and getting simultaneous hair-do's.
It's not too much of a fuss becuase we only have to drive 4 min. However, it will be 7am and I'm not known to be a morning person

Re: Regarding hair and make-up...
I originally had planned on going to my salon in Oceanside, but my hotel is in Woodbury, so I didn't want to spend my wedding driving an hour round trip to do the hair and makeup, especially when I have to travel back to my church, which is 5 mins from the salon.
