do you think it is tacky to put in the invitation that we would also appreciate gift cards to lowe's and home depot, but word it nicely.
you can formally register at Home Depot, and your bridal party and family are resonsible for spreading the information via word of mouth, aside from the registry cards going in your Shower Invites....you can also put it on your website.
id rather say to register there.. or just have your parents say that lowes gift card is also helpful...
That's just basically saying 'I want a gift'. If people don't want to get something off the registry, they will purchase gift cards. Just do it by word of mouth. You would be surpirsed how quickly things get spread.
