How do you do it and where? When do you get the gifts? And is there a way someone could put the honeymoon on a registry and if so which one. Please Help! Confused. LOL

Well I'm going to register at Fortunoffs and Macys. You'll recieve most of your gifts at your shower. Some people might have it delivered to your home. But it all comes before the big day.

From what I understand, We don't really get gifts at the actual wedding. Sometimes it really has to do with family traditions. Have you had a chance to speak with your mom or someone who has been married in your family.

We did it in store and online at BB&B & Fortunoff. Majority of gifts were given at shower. Some on day of and believe it or not some on my B-day. Honeymoon registries are become more common. Check with your travel agent or online at The Big Day

We registered with Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Macy's. Also, we have our honeymoon registered with our travel agent, Liberty Travel. You typically receive gifts that you registered for at your shower or engagement party, occasionally, people still give gifts at the wedding too, in lieu of a monetary gift.

i did some registration on line before i went into the store. it saved a lot of time in the store. people can find out where you are registered from your bridesmaids, mom, etc.

yup! regitering was one of the fun parts of wedding planning you just go into the store and they give you a scan gun and you scan anything you need or want you get most of the stuff at your shower, some at your wedding.....sometimes people put registry info on the shower invite so people know- but NEVER put it in the wedding invitation.... people can find out from your mom or your bridesmaids, and i even had some people ask me.... have fun!!

usually the place that you register at will give you little cards that you are registered there. give them to you BM so they can stick them in the invitations of your shower. otherwise word of mouth i suppose
