Registering!

This friday on my day off I spent 4 hours at Forunoff with my mom and only did about half of my registry. I was so exhausted when I left and found it a pain in the arse. Anyone else feel this way? NOw I have to go back and finish which is the worst part.

It is like shopping for a whole house in one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's why I loved the fact that you can register online! SO much more pleasant.

I have already gone about 5 times plus online. I enjoy it but I only do a couple of things in each trip.

I totally hear you! I hated it! Between my mother and the saleslady I got so sick of looking at my china pattern it made me want to vomit after a while. I got up and left without registering for anything after 2 hours of listening to my mother and the sales lady argue over crystal and forks. To make matters worse, we had registered for that china pattern prior to that time. We never fixed it. Yesterday, my dad's side of the family decided to suprise us with engagement gifts. I guess my mother told them we registered so I got all of my china. Instead of being happy and grateful, I was totally taken off guard and acted like a spoiled brat. I had to call my grandmother last night and apologize. I still feel terrible. I just wasn't expecting anything so now I feel bad that they bought all this expensive stuff that I'm not even sure I want. And I totally hate that I sound like a prima donna. Sorry for venting on your post! But yes, I understand what you are saying!
