Registering

Happy Thanksgiving Girls!!

Just wondering:

Did anyone register without FH? Mine isn't really into it (like most things wedding related )My sister would love to come with me, but I kinda feel like i should make FH come.

He says 'I like whatever you like.'

PS-- We never shop together he is HUGELY impatient when it comes to going to the store-- even 7-11. He says I take too long

I registered with FH... although he wasn't too excited about it (until he got to hold the scanner!)

We didn't register for things like bedding and towels yet, but he already told me that he doesn't mind if i do that with one of my friends, because he's soooo not interested!

if your FH is okay with it, then go register with your friend! It'll make the process more fun if the person you're with is excited about it

FH came with me to register at all 3 stores .... but I've done a lot of editing and adding since then because you can update all the registries online!

I did, but showed him alot of what I did register for. He isnt really in to it either, though there are some things that I let him choose b/c he would use them more than I dwould

I did all the scanning but he loved checking everything off the list they gave us lol ...I think it makes more sense if FH comes along with you being that u are registering for things for the home that you will both be living in...if he is an impatient person why not break the trip up into a few days..like go one day for an hour and then the next week another hour...cuz registering does take a while

My FH can't wait to try out the scanning thing and register for a knife set since we don't have any in the house right now. If it weren't for those, he would have to be dragged there.

Well you might want to bring FH but you should be able to take your time and enjoy the registering and it takes a looooooong time, trust me! So if you'll enjoy it without him more, then register at one place without him and if it's not fun then bring him to the other stores.

we have not started yet but when we do FH will be there. We love shopping together and we are looking foward to registering. we might even start this weekend.

registered online from home and went to the stores to see the stuff i registered for and played and changed it from time to time from home....fh didnt want any part of the scanner or anything that comes with 'fake shopping' (his phrase)...

I made him come with me I figured since it will be 'our' house... didnt want him to feel like it was all my choices! If FH doesnt want to go make him go he will have fun once he is there.... my FH DID NOT want any part of the whole registering thing (he hates shopping) I let him be in charge of zapping everything with the scanner and I had to drag him out of the store! We had a bunch of fun!

He and i registered together but for some things i looked on line ahead of time and showed him like two items to chose from. ALthough he wasnt as excited about it as I was, he did enjoy picking out some stuff.
