Registering....

Where is everyone registered/registering???? I'm indecisive...I have a few places that i would like to register but i want to keep it down to 2 maybe 3 places max. The places i am thinking of registering are: Macys, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, maybe even kohls now, and Fortunoff. Any suggestions of which two would be the best??? Im really torn with which one to get rid of between Macys, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond.

I'd go with BBB, Macy's and maybe Target if you even needed too. Between BBB and Macy's, you can find anything you need. Also, I'd scratch off Fortunoff.....I avoided them like the plague after hearing and reading about all of the horror stories with them. Not only are they pricey for stuff you can find elsewhere for cheaper, they have horrible return/exchange policies and make more people unhappy than happy. HTH.

BTW...I don't know if it was posted before or not, but Macys gives you a % credit for things purchased off of your registry. So if there's something that you didn't get, you can go back later and purchase it with that credit which is awesome

I know we are definitely doing Bed bath and beyond and now its looking like macys. I'm considering adding target too for some other items that we saw that we liked!! Thanks ladies!

You're welcome!

Just make sure you mention it to them..I think they have to enter your macys card on the system so they can apply the credit later...

We also have one up @ Fortunoff, I created the registry @ the Mindy Weiss Party they had. We got some gifts from there that were mixed on & off registry. Returning is such a PITA!!!! After waiting 15 minutes on one line in one dept, you have to go to the next dept, to return a different item and wait again. After that experience I took everything that could be registered @ BB&B or Bloomies & moved it there. Fortunoff is not worth the hassel.

I left our Helium Piolit luggage since it's always on 50% off sale why pay $600 @ Bloomingdales when it's $300 at Fortunoff? I also left odds & end our Kosta Boda Love items that I havn't seen else where & pink kitchen items. Honestly I will not give my girls info on Fortunoff, since there are only a handful of items, I'll buy them after the shower when I get the 10% off.

I know someone is going to say C&B is so trendy thus always changing their collections, which is only half true. FH & I have lived together for the past 5 years and we have 'classics' from C& B that they still have ...

same with us. we registered at those two places. i would have like target, but i heard they discontinue a lot of items often.
