Registering

Is anyone who already lives on their own or with FI having a problem with registering? I am finding that I don't have very much to put on there!

Are there any speciality stores I can register at?

Re: Registering

I had the same problem that you are having. I really didin't want to register at all but I was convinced to do so. I registered for things that were fancy and really didn't have. I figured that at least I will have it when I get a house. I registered for fine China, silverware, crystal, towels and sheet sets (you can never have enough), alot of appliances that I would think twice to get. Just go a register for things that you want or wouldn't spend on.

Re: Registering

I lived with DH before we got married and we found so many things we needed.Do you have luggage, nice dishes, bakeware, serving platters, new vaccuum, nice flatwear, crystal vases, wine glasses, foodsaver, fancy tablecloths and napkins. There's so many things we were able to come up with.Don't be afraid to put things down that are a little expensive.People may want to chip in together.

Re: Registering

We both live on our own & have for awhile but we registered for alot of things to replace old ones.......dishes, glasses, flatware, small appliances etc. We also incuded things we just wanted & wouldn't buy ourselve. I explained it to FH as it being a mega wish list. We also registered for luggage.
