Registering!

Registering!

So I went with FH and started our registery at Fortunoffs. At 1st I was super excited but then an hour into it it got a little overwhelming. there are just too many choices!!!!!!!!!!!

FH enjoyed scanning the items but he was annoying me a little. He was like why do we need a tea kettle can't we just boil water in a pot and pour it into a cup. ***!!!!!!!!! Is it 1945??
Anyone else have similar experiences??

I actually got headaches when registering before our e-party last year. We need to update it, but i'm not looking forward to it.

my FH only wants to register for 1) a flat screen TV 2) an electric screw driver.

Theyre just dumb!!

FH didn't really fight me too much....but some stuff he got frustrated and was like, you can do this stuff later on your own, I don't care about it! haha....so I went online and did it at home and then just showed him. He was a pretty good sport overall, but there were a couple of times he got a little flustered!

yes FH tried shooting down a few things I wanted to register for but I just added them online when he wasn't looking. He doesn't even know the difference and when we receive items he doesn't remember registering for I tell him he's the one that scanned it and then it's all ok

Aww...I know what you mean....I give him a lot of credit...he was with me on one floor for 3 hours and didn't go outside once for a cigarette!
He was getting frustrated with me because I kept on shooting down his suggestions. (I'm sorry but I DO NOT want black china!!) So he just let me do the picking.

Mine too!! Honestly, I bet that you CAN register there, but I think its ballsey to ask people to buy you really expensive things like that!! Plus, what is everyone at my shower going to chip in and get us ONE tv?!? No individual person is going to spend that insane amount!

Needless to say, I've continued to add items without his imput

Re: Registering!

also I should add that my FH couldn't complain too much b/c I allowed him to register at REI for individual Kayaks for us (they're only in the $300s each so it's not completely unrealistic....he has lots of uncles, I'm pretty sure we're going to get them!).....so really, he got his wish on that one, and he knew it! he had to behave hehe...

We registered there too! I love their selection!

Only disagreement we had there was I fell in love with China that appears to be from the 1920s and FH said it was better suited for a grandma But we ended up going w/ something I like even better

we registered over the summer and my FH was kind of the same way...he had fun with it but he was saying things like, 'do we really need that?' 'YES!!!' He just did not get some things

i can definitely see me getting a little overwhelmed and FH then having to take charge of it all..lol. He has more patience than I do.
