Registering

I've been dying to start our registry. Where did all you ladies register? Did you start it online or in the store - did you have a list of things you knew you wanted beforehand?? Where do I start

We registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond. We started in the store and I add things online. Its nice to see some things in person but for a lot I just browse the website and then add.

Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy*s. We registered at BBB in the store (took like 5 hours and FH wanted to kill himself by the end ) and Macy*s I did online because there wasn't much that I wanted to put on that registry.

We went to Fortunoff, in the store they sat down with us and gave us alot of helpful information. I use the website to do little things but I do most of my adding in the store. They were really great!

The FH and I just went to 'redo' our registry. We were on Williams-Sonoma (online) and Amazon.com (which carries everything). But, we took Amazon off and went to Bed, Bath & Beyond to do it up right.

Bed, Bath & Beyond has everything, for pretty good prices, and they give you a checklist to ensure you have everything 'recommended' for a home, and will walk around with you and compare brands, etc. Plus you can add, delete, online, so it's great.

We're pretty psyched about the new list!!

i am doing one at BBB and a hm one through disney..i kinda have an idea of what i want but im sure things will change when i actually do it

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond at the store and then added things online....and we started Pottery Barn and Williams and Sonoma online

I registered at BBB.... I did it online first.... I even went there today to register more things- but I'll def have to say that it was MUCH EASIER to register online than in the store. We ended up only adding a few things in the store and it took FOREVERRRRRRRRRR... I was exhausted after an hour and 4 items later LOL

BBB & Macys

I was registered at target instead of BBB but heard horror stories about not being able to return stuff and the items not coming off the registry after they were purchased.

We registered at BBB by going to the store and actually scanning, and I started the Macy's and Pottery Barn ones online, but those will only be for very specific items and not be used that often. I'm on BBB online like every day though poking around to add things as I think of them.

We registered at Fortunoff, Pottery Barn, and Bed Bath and Beyond, we started in the store, did more online and keep it up via the internet. We registered before our e-party and FH only came to one store, he has NO patience for this stuff and I've added stuff online.

I registered online for Fortunoffs (to get a $50 gift cert) but then went to the store to pick out things to add.
We also registered at BBB at the store.

At the stores they give you a suggested items checklist that is helpful. Don't plan to register for everything on 1 day! That would be too tiring! Good luck

We're registered at BBB, Fortunoffs and Macys.

We did them all at the store. But then add/delete/update online. It's must easier to start it in the store so you can see, feel and compare each of the items up close.

You don't need to bring a list - every place will give you a list and recommended number of items to register for when you go there.

just started yesterday at BBB ... went back again today actually (fh's idea... go figure!) ... we basically scan tons of crap at the store and ive been going back home and deleting and replacing some things with those i see online... i think we're doing pretty well so far

we registered at BBB and Macys. We started it in the store to actually see what a lot of the items looked like in person. I havent been back and have been monitoring it online which is great. when you go they will give you a list of items to consider. its really easy. FH and i had fun scanning!

I went to BBB and started in the store, then added online (esp after looking at registries of my friends and family). Bring a snack for FH if he is the whinny type
