WOW! I had no idea how long this would take! I couldnt even finish! I was too tired! I went to Fortunoff's and thought things were rather expensive but I am such a clearence shopper that I was in a bit of shock! My sister was making fun of me because I had such a hard time picking items! On another note...
How many places did you register at or how many places do you think is appropriate?

Re: REGISTERING!!!
We are only registered at BBB but my mom and I were thinking maybe Pottery Barn? I dont want people to think I'm making it inconvenient for them. I just figured they would all want to use their 20% off coupons

Re: REGISTERING!!!
It certainly is exhausting. FH and I started our Fortunoffs registry on Saturday. We're going to also do Macys and that's it.

Re: REGISTERING!!!
It IS exhausting...our main one is BBB, I have very few items on Macy's and Pottery Barn. I think 3 is usually the max number before people start talking.

Re: REGISTERING!!!
Just registered at Bloomies tonight, actually. We're doing Restoration Hardware for towels, Bloomies for China and Luggage, Crate and Barrel for smaller everyday items, flatware, glasses, and bedding, and Williams Sonoma for Kitchen Electronics..
I know 4 seems like a lot, but then everyone can go to places that are close by to them.

Re: REGISTERING!!!
I HATE REGISTERING!!!!!! FH and I registered at BBB. We also started one on Macy's. There are other things we need that I can't really find on there and I'm not sure where else to go for them. I really hate it. Some stuff is so expensive. I would never buy it. One last time...I hate registering!!!

Re: REGISTERING!!!
This is what I have found through my endless research and time spent registering
BBB is the easiest, best prices, most convenienct for guest since there are so many and you can use 20% coupons.
Macys is terrible, every store carries different merchandise and most china, crystal, and silver must be special ordered and the purchaser has to pay shipping and handling (approx $15) and the bride will receive a note card saying what gift has been purchased for them. Also, the online prices are west coast prices so they are cheaper than instore prices. You can get the lower internet price but must know about it before hand and have to go to the bridal registry dept to look it up and make the adjustment.
Fortunoffs -- has the most variety of china, crystal and silverware as well as home furnishing and furniture. Their completion program is good as well as their dream rewards cards. THEY ALSO ACCEPT BBB COUPONS as long as they carry the same brand. Lots of sales lately as well.
Bloomingdales -- a bit less merchandise than fortunoff's and rarely ever sales so paying the highest price for the same merchandise.
Needles to say, I chose BBB, Fortunoff's and Crate and Barrel

Re: REGISTERING!!!
Congrats on the registry....I def found it to be overwhelming. There is sooo much to scan. We registered at Fortunoffs, Macys and BBB....we have so many people that shop at any of these stores so we were trying to accomidate to everyone.
You will be surprised how many times you go on-line and change things too. I've changed mine atleast 10 times.

Re: REGISTERING!!!
We did three
Macys, BBB, and Pottery Barn
97% of my gifts came from Macys. We got only two items off our pottery barn and I think that is bc there aren't pottery barn stores out near me, and two because its rather expensive.
I think a lot of people like to shop at Macys, its not so expensive, and a lot of people have Macys charge cards. I prefer BBB myself just because you can always use a 20% off coupon.
