when do you register for gifts??

I have 8months until my wedding...i've heard that I should start now, but I also heard that I should wait.

i just registered 2 weeks ago...lol...i waiting until my mom started to get on my case. I am sucha procastinator.

Haha I'm so with you. I started my Macy's registry umm yesterday. I think you should be good to go and register in the next month or so. I don't think too much will be discontinued before then. Just make sure that you do check it closer to the time of your shower to make sure everything is still in stock.

We registered in Sept and are getting married in July..that would be 10 months before. I say the earlier the better.

I'm getting married in November and I haven't registered yet. I change my mind often so I want to wait as long as I can. I'm going to start to register within the next month or two. I know most people do it a lot earlier.

You should start registering because you never know when your shower will be. Plus there is a lot to do unless you pick things out mostly online.

i think i did mine around 8 months before the wedding and i slowly kept updating it !

we registered 1 year before the wedding & it ended up being 9 months before my shower. we went at that time because we had the time to spend doing it at that moment.
if i had to do it over again i would have waited until my mom & sister told us to register. thing where discontinued or no longer available & then you have to re pick items & it becomes such a headache.
