For those of you who have registered already, where did you register & why did you chose the places you did?We are thinking of registering after we nail down this venue situation
& besides Bed Bath & Beyond, I am not sure where else I want to go. I'd like to do three registries (not honeymoon though). For those who haven't registered, when do you plan on starting & where?
Thanks!

Not really sure when we're going to register yet...We plan on registering at Bed Bath & Beyond, but not sure where else. Maybe Crate and Barrel or Macy's.
Best of luck with the venue search!

We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond & Macy's. We chose BBB because it had a lot of the stuff we wanted and they ALWAYS have 20% off coupons and we chose Macy's because we wanted a step up from BBB for our fine china, etc. If there are leftover items on your Macy's registry, there is a discount provided for you and FH to then just purchase those items.

We registered at BBB and Macy's as well--but wound up getting rid of our Macy's registry. We even found our china at BBB, china was something we didn't want to go too crazy over since most people say they rarely use theirs. Our experience at BBB was amazing and we add and take off what we want whenever we want to. Also, like soon2bemrspy said, the 20% off coupons really work in the favor of people getting you stuff off of the registry!

I'm registered at BBB and might register at Macy's too. I wanted BBB so people could use the coupons.

We plan to do BBB because of the coupons and Amazon.com because of how easy it is and we could add things you might not find in stores. We aren't planning on registering for china and that would be the only reason we weould go to Macys.

Def bb&b and either Macy's or Bloomingdales for bedding and fancy stuff
When is everyone registering? I was thinking like 3-5 months before my shower.

We registered fairly quickly after our engagement because people started asking us right away about gifts. We registered and got a decent amount of stuff from our registry at our engagement party.

We registered at BB&B and Macy's. I like BB&B but I didn't find any flatware, china, serving pieces or bedding that I liked, which led to my decision to register at Macy's. I figure between the two stores, my guests will have a range of options to choose from (and nothing will be too overpriced - and there are usually coupons available for both!!).

We registered at BBB and Macy's. I'm obsessed with BBB...seriously could spend a year in that store. Also, its super easy to edit your registry on BBB and Macy's websites :)

We did not put the cards saying we were registered into the envelopes with the invites. We prefer monetary gifts since we spent a little more on the e-party than we would have liked. The only people who know about it are our parents--they got us some stuff for the holidays.

I haven't registered yet but I plan on registering at BBB, and maybe Target? I waited until after my E-party to register for gifts.

No we didn't. A lot of people had asked us prior to the party and we also had created a wedding website which we put on FB so all of our family could see details & the registries were on our site. If you don't have a wedding website a lot of people are familiar with the routine and browse BBB, Macy's etc and search your name to see if you created a registry.
