I did a price comparison on a plate set between Macys & BBB and Macys was $50 more! The set wasn't even on sale at BBB! I then went on to compare a few more things, toaster, coffee machine, etc... and BBB was consistenly lower by alot! Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Registering at Macys?
Macy's puts things on sale A LOT. Or they do promotions, like a free soup bowl with a 5 piece place setting. But you have to make sure you get them at the right time. Also, if your guests have Macy's credit cards, they get tons of coupons in the mail, and Macy's is also always putting out coupons in the newspapers.
I actually have all of my china at Macy's (b/c BBB didn't have the whole set), and my crystal is at BBB (because it was cheaper there).

Re: Registering at Macys?
I will probably register for my bedding at Macys just because I like their options better. Probably put my china & maybe towels on there to fill it up a bit?.?.
Do you girls think it's too early to register? As you can see I am a bit eager!

Re: Registering at Macys?
The only issue with registering this early is a lot of the stuff might be discontinued by the time the shower comes around- unless you have that sooner then right before the wedding.
I know someone that this happened to so she was never able to complete her china set, and she got a lot of gift cards or random gifts because what she wanted was not available anymore.
I hear you though-- I can not WAIT to register!

Re: Registering at Macys?
BBB usually is cheaper.
I've helped 2 friends pick where to do registrys and both picked bbb aways over macys. def cheaper imo.
