Re: registering at Target
I don't think it's tacky. Target has great stuff for the home, it's affordable, and almost everyone has a Target nearby so it's pretty convenient.

Re: registering at Target
I registered at Fortunoff's and Target. I found things that I liked at both stores that one had or didn't have or it was cheaper. I dont' think that that's tacky ...

Re: registering at Target
I know you can register at Target, but I've never seen a registry area, it only has a print out station, your guests have to find the stuff on their own and they don't gift wrap. At Fortunoff, there is a whole department literally dedicated to helping us brides and our guests.

Re: registering at Target
I don't think it's tacky -- I love Target! However, do a few searches on LIW. Target has an awful return policy and many past brides have had significant problems with their registries. I'd caution you not to register there, most things can be found elsewhere (like BBB) and if there's something unique to Target that you have your heart set on, buy it yourself with gift money.

Re: registering at Target
My friend registered at target and Macys. When I went to Target I printed the registry but there was no one to help you find the stuff. I asked someone and he said I have to match the numbers on the shelves with the numbers on the printout. There were some dishes that I wanted to get but they were not in boxes so it would be hard to wrap so I ended up getting a few photo albums. It wasn't the easiest place to shop.

I don't think its tacky.. I'm making one at BBB and Target... They have better deals then over priced Macey's (Sorry those who registered there hehe).. Plus theres tons of things in different price ranges for everyone who has a different budget!

Re: registering at Target
I love Target, but I'd be careful. My friend registered there and she ended up getting a lot of gifts twice. I'm not sure if it was the store or her shoppers but gifts weren't coming off the registry list. So I'd just be careful.

This is what happened to a lot of brides. doubles and triples of registry items and Target wouldn't take them back. google target registry on the internet and do a search on here, you'll find lots of horror stories
I don't think target is tacky. I love target, it's one of my fav's.

Re: registering at Target
Your sister sounds alittle booshy. lol.. Target is far from tacky and people arent going to spend millions on your gift, target is close to almost everyone.
As for getting the same gift twice im sure it was the shoppers buying it twice!
