Registering dilemma

I was planning on only registering at Fortunoff...however, after going to Florida last week to see FH's family....his mom asked me what would I like as my gift...and I said no clue since I haven't registered yet, and she asked me where was I planning too,,...and I told her Fortunoff...and she said...but there isn't a Fortunoff in Florida....
no should i register elsewhere too...or just have them go to fortunoffs website?????

Re: Registering dilemma

they should be able to just go to the fortunoff website, however, some people like to actually walk into a store to shop ... is ther a lot of out of towners that cannot access a fortunoff store.

If yes, consider registering at Bloomingdsales or Macys instead.

If not, then how about a store like Bed Bath and Beyond or Target with a few items so that she can buy from there?

Maybe pick another place because some people are 'computer' challenged. Like my FMIL. She would have no clue how to do it. Just a thought.

All of FI relatives are from Wisconsin & we're registering at Fortunoff & Crate & Barrel. They said they were fine with using the web page!

I chose BB&B and Target because they are readily available in most towns, without having to go to the internet. A lot of my family is still not web savvy so I wanted to make it easier for them to just walk into the store.

Re: Registering dilemma

I did Fortunof & Bed Bath & Beyond.

I though my MOH is CA, would prefer BB & B , but she just used the Fortunoff website & my computer-less grandma, who I thought would like to go to an actual store ( and would have been able to get to either), just had my aunt order online from BB & B. I think she just wanted to get us the China we wanted, regardless of what it looked like.

So, you can't really figure what people are going to do, I say register at Fortunoff, and then see what else you need. I thoguht I'd jsut register at BBB, but there were things they didn't have there, it was good to have 2 stores.

ETA- my mom brought a place setting to show her after I open it since it is just stored at her house anyway.
