When did you register? How long before your wedding? Our wedding is in November, shower is in the summer? (at the earliest) and my Mom keeps hounding us to register... Would it look weird to register for gifts 10 months before the wedding?

We're getting married in 6 1/2 months and we're still not registered. I'm just registering closer to the wedding just in case anything is discontinued.

We registered the month after being engaged because everyone kept asking us where we were registered. We are registered at BBB. We had an engagement party this summer so we got gifts then from our registry. We also got some things for Xmas. I say, the sooner the better.
In February I might register us at Kohls. Kohls gives you 15 % off coupons to put in your shower invites!
