I'm not - I have no room in my NYC kitchen for crystal!!!
i thought the same way... but a coworker convinced me otherwise...
what if you buy a home down the road? you will have room then!

Re: registering for crystal
you must! i have 0 room in my apartment for china, crystal and other home goods. that's what my parent's garage is for! if you don't register for them, are you ever going to throw down the money to buy them?
plus, i registered for crystal glasses than were $25 so that's a super affordable gift for my party-goers. AND i registered for matching pitchers and ice buckets. how fun!

Re: registering for crystal
I originally registered for my 'second choice' crystal b/c my first choice, Waterford Presage, was too expensive. But then I saw it on ShopNBC for like half the price, so I ordered it from there and took the others off my registry!
