Registering for pots and pans

I'm starting to get a bit freaked out becuase people are starting to buy things off my registries -- but I'm not done registering yet! I didn't register for pots and pans yet, but now I feel like I need to do this right away or I'll have my current pots and pans forever. So...any recommendations of what brand to ask for?

I love All-Clad! IT's great - lifetime warranty, and pretty too. (I have the stainless steel ones)

I went for Caphalon too, they're supposed to be the best ones out there, but who knows???

CALPHALON!!!! YOU MUST HAVE IT!!! There are different levels of Calphalon quality, but the Calphalon One line is the best.

I happen to like non stick so the Calphalon Non - Stick is what I went for. I really liked the All-Clad too but only certain pieces.

I felt that Calphalon had the best selection for the price!

My FMIL got us a Macy brand all-clad knock off....discontinued now, so I'm going to add pieces of all clad to it...although I think I like calpholon better

I registered for All-Clad stainless steel. FI didn't want nonstick or aluminum because of health reasons - so after researching a bit, we decided on All Clad stainless steel for our set and two Calphalon nonsticks for omelettes.

I have the Caphalon and honestly it is a waste since I am not a big cook. Unless you are BIG cook, get a nice set. You dont have to get the best of the best unless you cook every night.

All-Clad is definitely the best (especially their LTD line), Calphalon is also good - but those 2 are probably more for experienced cooks.

I do know, however, that at Bed Bath and Beyond, the Emerilware cookware line is actually made by All-Clad, but its more inexpensive. It even looks almost identical to their anodized line.

HTH!

I registered for Emerilware...hopefully I will learn to cook by osmosis...LOL

I have the Calphalon non-stick. I started buying them from Sears cause they were on the Clearance rack a couple months ago! Now I can complete my set. And it has a lifetime warranty, so it's good!
