Registering Help

Did anyone do all or most of their registering online. Here is the deal, I HATE shopping in stores..I'm borderline agoraphobic (ok that's a stretch) but seriously hate shopping in stores especially places like Macy's/Fortunoff's-overwhelming crowded nightmares. Can you register for everything online?

absolutely!
I would check out things like sheets or towels in the store, b/c you probably want to know how they feel, but if it's not a big deal, just do it on line.

You can definitely add, subtract and delete from the website, but I would recommend going into the store at least once. Not only is playing with the scanner gun fun, but there's a lot of stuff that they don't sell online. This was my experience with Macy's and BB&B at least.

Brit I agree with Laura. stuff is not always what u might envision it to be and sometimes online u cant ge the full effect. i had changed me reg. alot online but i made sure to go to each store at least time.

I second that.

You could always drink a ton of wine before you go! We thought about doing that but the BBB that is subway-accessible doesnt have as much as the one you have to drive through.

Could be worth cabfare to register drunk?

i agree. there were things that i put on the registry from online but when i saw them in the stores i didn't like them as much. So if there are things you're unsure of I would check out what they look like in person.

I brought FH to Target to register, mistake . He got an upset stomach and I ended up doing the rest online. I also registered online at BBB and Fortunoff's, never set foot in either store.

I did 99% of mine on-line
I could not deal with the store and that gun. I know so many people love it, but to me it was just too much to look at.

Re: Registering Help

I personally went to Fortunoffs and Crate&Barrel to register, but definatly have been adding and editing ever since. Id honestly say OF COURSE u can do it online- only problem is that things are NOT the same online sometimes... Its a risk you have to take if you want to just register online. My china is NOT shown on the internet the way it is at Fortunoffs so i wouldve never even picked it online! I had to see and touch to make my decisions. But if youre confident enough to do it online, more power to ya and i wish you the best! You can FM me anytime for help, as ive seen ALOT of the products at fortunoffs, bb&b, & crate&barrel

I can't thank you ladies enough! You have no idea the burden you relieved me of. I have had my knickers in a twist all week dreading the Fortunoff/Crate & Barrel excursion we had planned for Saturday. FH is going to be tickled!

I am going on-line baby

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

BTW: Mel my taste and standards gets pretty 'bad' after a few cocktails. Trust me

My FH was more into the registering than I was!!!
He's been adding things to it online everyday since we went to the store...

I agree that yes it's annoying, but you should go at least once to the store to see what they have in the stores!

We went to BB&B when we set up the registry, but after about 1 hour, we ended up just leaving..it's so overwhelming to try to figure out everything you want! It's so nice to be able to go online and add/delete as you think of things!
