Re: Registering on-line.................
You can do it at most places. FH & I went to Fortunoff to register but we regularly added and subtracted items online since then.

Re: Registering on-line.................
We started all our registries online (after visits to stores) and then did some more in person....depends on if you know what you want, etc....

I did at both B, B&B and at Fortunoff. FH and I updated out BB&B registry in person last week. And we're going to do the same @ Fortunoff soon.
It's great to be able to start your registry online, but the websites carry only a fraction of what the stores actually carry.
I wouldn't registed for stuff like towels or bedding online. I want to be able to touch those items and see if they're soft or not.

I went to BB&B to register but have added and removed stuff online. I registered online at Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma.

We went in person to open the registries. I like to see and feel things and look for other options - besides, we had fun. But I update it online every so often.

You can do it with Bed, Bath & Beyond, but FH and I will go there initially to choose most of our stuff. I like being able to see everything they have available. We'll probably add to the list by going online.

I did my whole macy's registry online. I did my BBB one mostly in the store and everything was bought off the macys registry and the bbb was hardly touched lol

I think it would be very difficult to do so. I registered at Fortunoff & went in person twice & then added & deleted things online, but it's best to see in person what you're registering for, especially if you're concerned about the quality.
Also, the store might have things that are just not listed online.

I'm jus going to Register at MACY'S.. I trust the store and I'm not really a detailed person.. So on-line will be cool for me...

Re: Registering on-line.................
we ended up registering online at bloomingdales and sur la table. i noticed that some things available at the store are not available through the online registry. so we'll be going to the stores to add more things... but it was good getting started online.

Re: Registering on-line.................
I registered online first. It was nice to be able to sit at home and fill out all the info instead of being asked tons of questions, and then just go to the store and add stuff on. It's fun!

Re: Registering on-line.................
I would reccomend registering online first, and then going in to scam itmes. It made it so much easier to go in and say 'I am already registered with you, I just need a gun' than to have to give them all your information.
I change and revise things nline all the time. but I needed to see most of the things in person to know if I wanted them.

Re: Registering on-line.................
If you are going to register at Macy's, definately make a trip to the store first, because that will set you up for their rewards program... if you do it online, you arent eligable I think.... The rewards program gives you 10% off all personal purchases from now to the wedding, then you get 5% of guest purchases back as a gift card!! I think it is definately worth it...then just go home and add everything else you want online!!
