Registering on line...question

Registering on line...question

I am really bored at work and figure I'll go on line today and look at some stuff for the registry.

I am thinking of maybe just registering on line. FI and I agreed he can do all the pots and pans and I can do everything else.

So I was thinking of doing that today, registering on line. I am thinking of registering at Crate and barrel and Macy's.

I have a question, if I register on line is it just like going into the store and doing it? Will my friends and family be able to view my registry?

Or Should I just work around FI's schedule and go one night after work (he is only off on Mondays and Tuesdays so thats really the only days we can do anything)

Thanks

Melissa I'd wait. You have alot of time and so many new items come out. I registered 8 months before & we had to redo coffee maker & some other items because they get discontinued & new & better ones come out.
Also I prefer viewing most things in person but if you decide to do it have fun.

I guess it doesnt hurt to look at some items on the websites

I guess we'll wait a little and go one night when I get home from work

I registered online and in person...I know I'll have to redo some items but everyone was harrassing b/c they wanted to buy me gifts...no one bought me anything yet btw...but seriously, some things you have to see to choose (like linens) you want to see and feel the quality up close.

I'd do both, online can get you started, then you can finish in person.
No matter which way you do it, everyone will have access online and in-store.

Re: Registering on line...question

very good points....

i guess things like linens can be done in person.

I guess it doesnt hurt to look on line and get an idea. I actually have a list at home with item numbers of things I am considering regestering for.

I guess it doesnt hurt to just look and make some notes because their maybe some new stuff with these places and i can just add them to my list
