Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
We just registered about two weeks ago....I was putting it off also.
I wound up only registering at BBB....and that's including my china also. I figured with the 20% off coupons that people always get, everyone will be able to buy things and use their coupons.
You have to go where you think its best for what you are registering for.
Good luck and enjoy the process! It's exciting!!

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
I registered at BBB and Macy's...I have most of my stuff on the BBB registry but Macy's had the gravy boat/sugar bowl/creamer for my china and BBB didin't...I basically just used the Macy's one to supplement my main one at BBB.
I'd go for BBB instead of Target if only because everyone gets those 20% off coupons for BBB so they are more likely to buy something a little more expensive.

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
actually we did BBB and bloomingdales for the good stuff... they were the same priced as BBB but had way more of a selection!
Dont do Target - the return policy there terrible!

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
My main registry is BBB, and I have bedding and some auxiliary china pieces at Macy's and snobby stuff at Williams-Sonoma. I've heard pretty bad things about Target, that if something is purchased via the online registry it won't show up as fulfilled on the in store print out, and vice versa, so there's tons of duplicates purchased and they give you a hard time about returning it. Was enough bad things that I didn't even bother going there.

I registered at BBB and Fortunoff!!! we all know what happen with Fortunoff!! not that i think target or macy's are going out of buisness anytime soon
but BBB has everything so i would go there to do the registering!
also they give you a list of things you should register for...it helps.

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
I started my registry with Target and then did Crate and Barrel and BBB. I ended up switching everything on target to BBB.....they have the same stuff and same price. plus BBB has an amazing return policy.

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
We registered at BBB and Macys
Macys has the china, stemware, crystal...ect
BBB has everything else.
I dont know if this will matter to you but BBB gives you cashe back if you return an item off your registry. That was a big selling point for FH

ITA. PLus BBB has a cash back return policy. I registered at BBB and Macys.. really BBB Has everything Macys does too, and usually cheaper plus you can use the coupons. The stuff on our macys registry is mostly duplicative of BBB with a few extra tihngs that BBB didnt have. The only thing with BBB when it comes to china/stemware/ etc. (the fancier stuff)- not all of the BBB's have that kind of stuff only certain of their locations- thats why we doubled up and added it on teh macy;s registry too. In retrospect I would have done BBB and Bloomies maybe but when we went to register there was no one around and their customer service was horrid, we just walked out..

Re: registering this weekend (need advice)
I just registered about 2 weeks ago and I am still adding stuff lol. I did 3 stores since we are having so many ppl @ the shower...to give people different price points. I think its a good idea to have a few choices.
