Registering tomorrow

any advice on what you should register for? is there a list? i feel like an idiot, i don't know where to start.

Wherever you go will give you a list of things you need...they are always going ot ask if you want to register for fine china in additon to everyday stuff...so you should decide if you want to do that as well...

its hard to do everything in one day so pick a category and do one at a time...bring water you get tired lol

BBB gives you a checklist thats useful. We mostly just walked around the store and scanned what we wanted. There's no right or wrong! You can always add/delete online when you get home.

register for the necessary stuff like kithcen appliances and for some fun stuff that you will never buy yourself but need or want. lol

depending where you go, they should have a checklist to give you an idea. FH and I are going tmrw to register at Fortunoff's but since they are a bit pricey on certain items, we may choose to register for certain items there (ie: bedding, wine items, etc) while doing our main registry at another place.

use their checklist, but dont feel like you really need to register for every single thing on there.

if there are some things you want more than others, you may want to register for those first and then add the secondary items once the things you really want get purchased. also, a lot of stores offer great things online that you wont see in the stores, so when you get home (or before you go) check out the store websites too!

one last thing, go to BBB or wherever and look up a generic last name and browse other peoples registries. great way to get ideas, and see what guests actually purchased
