Registering Tomorrow, Any tips?

Registering Tomorrow, Any tips?

I'm going to bed bath and beyond tomorrow to register. I know there have been mixed reviews about the store, that is not my issue. I am just wondering how to keep everything straight with a gun in your hand, people shopping and your fiance getting bored??

Let your fiance use the gun; that's what kept mine entertained!

Yes let him play too- you can always go back and delete things that he picked!!! It took me 3 days to do it about 4-6 hrs each time. I really went threw everything and put all different amounts too so guest didnt feel like they had to spend a lot of $$$$ also very important make sure you pick enough stuff lots of people complain when there is a small registry and things go fast. and most importantly put the things you really need if you put too much you may not get the 'important' things you need. Have fun!!!!

Ha. I went last week to BB&B - FI was not too bored, he actually helped me. It is alot of fun, because you are picking out things for yourself. Good luck & enjoy.

I'm not sure which one you're going to but I liked the one in Westbury by the Source better than the one in Manhasette.

Def. let FI use the gun. I held back on asking his opinion on certain things - softness of a towel = yes but colors = no...this is only because i'd obsess & he'd get frustrated

Always remember if he wants to add something ridiculous (mine added the Cotton Candy Cart & Electronic dart board/laundry bag ) you can always ask him if its ok to take it off (online) a few months later...

Hi Christine!! I registered at BB&B too. Its a lot of fun but definitely can be overwhelming. Take your time and plan for multiple visits .. also, take along a bottle of water to sip on. Have fun!!

remember it doesn't need to get done in one day. that was the most important thing to me so you don't feel overwhelmed.

If you're taking FH along for the ride and are worried he's going to get impatient, I would suggest scanning anything and everything there on the spot. Don't obsess about whether you 'actually need' something, or if something is too expensive, or if you're not sure about the color... you can always easily change things around online. I found BB&B's website to be very user friendly, and it took a lot of the stress out of shopping in the store. If FH and I were wishy washy on an item, we'd scan it and then decide later.

Good luck and have fun!

IF it gets to be to much leave and come back another day.

FH and I started to argue about a toaster and that was enough for the day.

It shoudl be fun!!

When we went, we had a good time (FH actually picked things out!!!). His only complaint was that he was hungry. So take him out to eat first!!!

Well, we ate before we left, wore comfortable shoes, went to the bathroom and all that fun stuff!! It still took us 2 hours! It wasn't soo bad. I left my FH home, because he had to work but I took my MOH with me. He was very happy I went without him after I told him how long it took! He hates to shop. Thank you ladies for all your tips and advice. it really helped!!
