Fh and me are serious cooks, so we will probably also register at William & Sonoma.
We also wanted to register at Lowe's for home stuff (since we both had apartments and will need stuff for lawn care).
Am I supposed to put the cards from all the places in my shower invites? Will people think I'm greedy?

I have four -- I don't have a bunch of stuff on any of them - just spreading the love and it makes it easier for people - they can pick where they would rather shop.

I think people are used to others registering at many different locales. I think its a better selection!

I think its great to include them all! Gives people options on where to go. I am going to register at 3 places. I hate getting a shower invitation with no registry card!

You can definitely register at 3 different places. I never even thought about lawn care stuff!! That's a great idea!!!

Re: Registrires...
You can put different cards in different people's invites. Example, if you have people that live way out in Suffolk, don't put hte Fortunoff card in their envleope and if you have people are lower budgets, give them the BBB card, not the Bloomingales.
You can also have it printed right on your invite where you are registed so there are not so many cards falling out of the envelope.

LOVE the idea of Lowes! I told FH he can have his own registry for like the tools he'll need and whatever guy stuff he needs! so we'll prob do a sears or something for him!
I thought at first that it was done by word of mouth but then i found out you can put that stuff in the invite and it doesnt look bad...

Re: Registrires...
You can also have family pass your registry places by word of mouth. We are having a pretty small wedding, so if we just tell our parents and a few key friends everyone will probably know in under a week!

I don't think you are being greedy. But I do have a question about BBB...didn't they file for bankruptcy? How does that work?

Re: Registrires...
I have 4 registries. I have Macy's, JC Penney, Bed bath and beyond an Pfaltzgraff. I only told my immediate family about the pfaltzgraff to complete my dish set that was bought for me at JC penney by my Future mother in law. So really I will just give out 3 registries, but I want to do lowes also. I don't think it is bad it is what you want.

Re: Registrires...
I registered at BBB and went to Macy's to find the stuff I didn't see at BBB. I had such a bad experience at Macys (the NYC one). I honestly couldnt find anything I liked for bedding, bathroom stuff, and everyday dishes. It's just so big and crowded and honestly they didn't have a huge selection of certain things. Does anyone recommend somewhere else for these items. I don't think there is a fortunofs in the city.
