Good morning ladies, we registered at a couple stores last week and I have a question. Both stores told us to put over 200 items on each registry, is that normal? We don't even have 100 on each one I didn't wanna seem greedy. How many items did you ladies register for?

Well if you're registering at more than one store, then don't put 200 on each registry. That's insane. Most of the stores think you're only registering at their store. Like right now, Macy's is telling me to put 250 gifts for my 300 guests...well if I do that for Fortunoff and BBB, then my house will be swamped with gifts! I think its best if you cut it down and not order that much with each store.

I didn't register for a certain # of items... I registered for thigns i needed, and then a couple of silly things that i just wanted... the way I figure I dont' want a ton of excess gifts i dont need or want, and if my registry runs out, i'll get gift cards or $$...

If you need the things, then leave it. Make sure you don't have duplicate items also at one store, that you registered already for at another.
It gives everyone options, but like I said make sure you don't duplicate

We registered for what we need. We don't live together so we needed a lot but I don't think there are 200 items on each registry.
