HOW MANY MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT DO YOU GO OUT AND DO A BRIDAL REGISTRY?

it depends who you're asking. I registered pretty early but some girls prefer to wait until it is closer to their wedding date because items on the registry may become discontinued

I'm getting married in August. I will probably start mine in the late fall. I don't want to do it too soon in case some items get discontinued.

I am getting married in April and I am probably going to go in a couple weeks to register.

My wedd is next June so I will start my reg next Feb or March

FH's mother insisted we register right away so we did.

Part of it was just in case people wanted to get us engagement gifts. The other part was because I just wanted to get it over and done with. I still add items on now and again.

I did mine about a month ago.

It is addicting. Now all I can think about is having new kitchen stuff and nice serving pieces, etc.

I feel like I am 'nesting'
