I'll be registering in a few weeks and wanted to take a little poll.

What gift(s) did you receive that have been the most useful and what has been the least useful?

It can be something you registered for or a tidbit someone just picked up for you.

Dont register for a spice rack!!! lol
Some people like it, but I am yet to use mine!!!!

DEF register for corningware pan set (cooking pans, etc & Pyrex bowls)



I have to be honest................I think I am going to return my good china set..............we received all the dishes, and little by little all the coordinating pieces, but the more I think about it.............its really going to just sit inside the china cabinet and only be used maybe once or twice a year, if that!!!!!!!

I saw an everyday set that was a setting for 12 and gave all the pieces for a cheaper amount and looked like nice china, SOOOO i may return the expensive stuff for that and use the rest of the money for other house items!!


Thats just my opinion, if you'll use it, GREAT, but if you really think about it..............people always register for nice china and then all that money is spent for nothing.................just to sit on display!!

UPDATE!!!! Im glad to see Im not the only one who feels this way about the 'good' china!!

We've still only taken the most useful things out of the boxes because we have a renter upstairs (one of the groomsmen) and he's not good in the kitchen so we want to wait until he moves out before unpacking the nice stuff...so I can't help much on least useful.

Most useful: Immersion Blender!!! I use it all the time and it came with a chopper attachment which made it even better. I hype it up so much that my mom got jealous and told me to buy her one for christmas.

Most useful thing: our coffee maker (love having coffee ready for me when I wake up in the morning), our vaccum.

Least useful: our shower curtain rings that keep falling out & breaking.

Most useful: Everyday dishes from Target, spice holder that we put on the wall from Target, our bedding set from Target, Elevated dog feeder from Target, and Rachael Ray cookware set and pasta pot from....Target...do you see a theme

Least useful: new glasses...we already had some we loved, good china...we never use it and it was a waste..it just sits in the cupboard collecting dustwaffle maker...good in theory but just not practicle for our lifestyle, Gorge Foreman...Joe will grill outside in a blizzard so we never use it, and a coffee maker...we already had one we love

we're still unpacking/unwrapping gifts and setting everything up but so far, our new Grind and Brew Coffee pot is the best. We haven't gotten out the Griddler, yet, though.
