So we're finally going to set up our registry at Fortunoff's tomorrow and I'm very excited. I also wanted to register at Williams Sonoma. This was always the plan but now FH is freaking out that Williams Sonoma is more expensive than Fortunoff's and we can get the same things. When I proved him wrong about Williams Sonoma being more expensive he started complaining that it's not convenient for everyone. I don't understand why he's making such a big deal over this. It's not like I'm picking one obscure store. If some people can't get to Williams Sonoma they can go to Fortunoff's. That's where most of our registry will be anyway. He's making it seem like I'm being snobby. Am I wrong about this? I feel like even if we didn't pick Williams Sonoma we would need to register in more than one place anyway.

Re: registry
do both. My FH was like that about the convenience of Fortunoffs vs Macys- go with the angle that people do not have to by from williams sonoma if they do not want to

Re: registry
Ahh don't pay attention to FH. It's a registry... 'a glorified wish list'. I think you should do whatever you want. Williams Sonoma is a great to have a registry and if people don't want to buy anything from there they'll go elsewhere.

Re: registry
There's nothing wrong with having both. It's better to give guests more registry options too.
